Prayas homeopathy and cancer foundation launched free clinic in rishikesh
Rishikesh / On the auspicious occasion of 132nd birth anniversary of Sri Sri Paramhansa Yoganandaji, Prayas Homeopathy and Cancer Foundation launched a completely free clinic for cancer patients named Paramhansa Yogananda Ekta for Homeopathy Practice and Awareness. The clinic was inaugurated by Swami Pranav Chaitanya, Karnal C K Srivastava, Sadhvi Banmali Dr Shruti by lighting the lamp. Special guests like members of Yogada Samiti etc were present on this occasion. The clinic located on Lakshman Jhula Road aims to reach out to cancer patients from all sections and provide a range of services including preventive, curative and palliative treatments for all types of cancer. Dr Shruti Shah, Homeopathic Cancer Specialist of the Foundation, founded the clinic PUSPA by leveraging her vast experience of treating brain, skin, lung, pediatric, breast and similar cancers. She felt that she felt divine to establish it in Rishikesh. This unique charitable initiative aims to collect scientific evidence for dissemination and training of future generations of youth. This clinic is an important step in this direction. “Prayas” is an initiative started by homeopaths with the aim of making treatment through homeopathy accessible to those who are suffering from this disease; it is set up as an NGO and registered trust. It seeks to integrate homeopathic practices with contemporary scientific methods to advance understanding and efficacy in cancer care. This initiative underlines their commitment to make effective treatment available to those in need at an affordable cost. “Prayas” intends to document scientific evidence for oncology research by setting up a homeopathic academy, which can integrate yoga, meditation and naturopathy techniques and run programs for cancer wellness and rehabilitation.
