Anything Legit Becomes One of Only Four Companies Licensed as Transport Aggregator in Uttarakhand
Anything Legit, a fast-growing digital platform for hyperlocal and transportation services, has reached a major milestone by obtaining the official Transport Aggregator License under the Uttarakhand On-Demand (Information Technology-Based) Transportation by Contract Carriage Rules, 2020. This achievement positions Anything Legit as one of only four companies, along with industry giants Uber, Ola, and Rapido, to be granted this license in Uttarakhand, allowing it to operate transport aggregator services across the state. Apart from these companies it is learnt that Hitohit Solutions of Haldwani and Roopkund Tourism Development Society have also received this coveted license in Uttarakhand.
Under Rule 3 of the 2020 Uttarakhand Transportation Rules, companies are prohibited from advertising or booking transport vehicles within the state via apps or websites without this license. This milestone grants Anything Legit the full authorization to connect passengers with transport services, expanding safe and efficient tech-enabled transport options throughout Uttarakhand.
“This license represents a defining moment for us,” said Vedansh Pandey, CEO of Anything Legit. “Being among the few licensed aggregators in Uttarakhand is a tremendous honor and a validation of our dedication to creating a reliable, local platform that meets the transportation needs of our community. With this license, we can now focus on bringing accessible, tech-forward solutions to communities across Uttarakhand.”
Supporting the Growth of Uttarakhand Anything Legit reaffirms its commitment to Uttarakhand’s economic growth with plans to host free license registration camps for the people of Uttarakhand in the coming months. This initiative aims to support job creation by helping local drivers acquire necessary licensing and access to resources, opening up new avenues within the transportation sector.
