Rishikesh, 8 December. Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan visited Parmarth Niketan. He participated in the world famous Ganga Aarti in the holy presence of Swami Chidananda Saraswati. He spent the night in the divine spiritual atmosphere of Parmarth Niketan.
Swami Chidananda Saraswati, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan, members of Parmarth Niketan family and devotees from many countries of the world paid their emotional tributes to the country’s first CDS General Bipin Rawat and his wife Mrs. Madhulika. The sacrifice of General Bipin Rawat will be written in golden letters in the history of the country. His untimely demise is an irreparable loss for the entire country.

Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan said that Parmarth Niketan, situated on the banks of Ganga ji, is a divine spiritual center that attracts devotees and tourists from across the country and abroad. The Ganga Aarti here is not only a religious ritual, but it is also a symbol of environmental protection, spiritual awareness and social service. We are proud that Pujya Swami ji is hoisting the flag of Indian culture on foreign soil and waving the flag of Sanatan culture every day from the banks of Ganga ji.

He said that Ganga is not just a river, it is a symbol of our culture, civilization and the soul of the nation. Every soldier of our army is also dedicated to the service of his nation like Ganga ji.

CDS Anil Chauhan called upon the youth to follow patriotism and social responsibility. He said, the youth have the power to shape the future of India, they can do it with morality, honesty and courage. It is the need of the hour to awaken the spirit of patriotism in the youth and inspire them in national interest.

They keep the countrymen safe by risking their lives. It is because of their service and sacrifice that we are able to live in peace and tranquility in our homes.
Be it flood, earthquake, or any other disaster, the soldiers of the Indian Army prove every time with their bravery and dedication that they are not only the protectors of the borders but also of the society. Their readiness and dedication is a source of inspiration for every citizen. Now the time has come that like soldiers, every citizen will have to think above personal interests for the national interest.
Swami Ji said that saints nourish the soul of the society, while soldiers keep the body of the country safe. This harmony between the two is necessary for the stability and progress of the nation.
Swami Ji congratulated the entire Indian Army by presenting a Rudraksha plant to CDS Anil Chauhan.
