Rishikesh Post office Organized Dak Chaupal in Rishikesh

Dak Chaupal (postal outreach event) was held at the main post office in Rishikesh. The event was attended by Shri Anasuya Prasad Chamola, Director (Postal Services) of Uttarakhand Circle, Shri GS Bisht, Senior Superintendent of Dehradun Division, Shri Rajiv Kumar, Additional Superintendent of Dehradun Division, public representatives Shri Shiv Kumar Gautam and Rajendra Raina, other postal department officials, managers of Dehradun and Haridwar divisions of India Post Payments Bank (IPPB), and the general public.

The Postmaster-in-charge of Rishikesh Head Post Office, Shri KK Yadav, began the event by providing information about post office savings accounts. Subsequently, officials from the postal department and IPPB explained various schemes offered by both organizations to the public. The Dak Chaupal also provided an opportunity for the public to share their feedback on postal department schemes.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Ansuya Prasad Chamola, Director (Postal Services), informed the public about the Digital Life Certificate and Aadhar Enabled Payment Service offered by the postal department and encouraged them to take maximum advantage of postal services.
