Rishikesh Yoga Alliance community host yoga meeting in Tapovan Rishikesh

The general meeting of Rishikesh Yoga Alliance was successfully concluded today at Yoga Upasana, Tapovan, Laxman Jhula. The meeting was chaired by Bipin Baloni and Sanjeev Semwal (President and Secretary, Rishikesh Yoga Alliance), in which more than 50 yoga teachers, representatives of more than 20 yoga schools and Vinod Kulyal, President of Tapovan Hotel Association and Secretary Manish ji, Yogi Ram ji, Ravi Bisht ji, Mohan Badhani, Pramod Bhai, Dinesh Shastri, Amit Rana, Suryansh Bhai, Upendra Bhai, Vishnu Bhai, Mahesh Bhai, Kushal Bhai, and other dignitaries were present.

The development of the yoga community and the upcoming plans of the organization were discussed in detail in the meeting. A special strategy was prepared to make the rishikeshyogalliance.org website more useful and to add more and more yoga schools to it.

Major decisions of the meeting:

1 The registration process of yoga schools will be streamlined.

2  The publicity of the website will be increased so that more schools can benefit from it.

3  A detailed discussion was held with the President and Secretary of Tapovan Hotel Association regarding drug abuse. And a discussion was also held to prevent the operation of DJ till late night regarding noise pollution.

Special discussion was also held on drug abuse and noise pollution in Tapovan.

In the meeting, deep concern was expressed on the problems like increasing alcohol and drug activities in the Tapovan area and playing DJ till late at night. It was decided to take our point to the administration for effective action on this subject by having a special discussion with the Hotel Association.

At the end of the meeting, Joint Secretary Amit Rana thanked all the members and called for active participation to empower the yoga community.
