The Municipal Council of Muni Ki Reti-Dhalwala celebrated Harela festival dedicated to environmental protection with great joy by planting saplings of different species.
On Wednesday, under the leadership of Municipal President Neelam Bijalwan, the team of Municipal Council Muni Ki Reti-Dhalwala, councilors, local public representatives and residents of the area gathered at Naya Banda Marg near 14 Bigha Bridge and formally launched the plantation campaign. From here, the team carried out the plantation campaign till Mitra Vihar, Railway Road near Suman Marg, near Ward 11 Shiva Temple and Bhajangarh with the slogans of Plant trees-Save the environment and Plant trees-Increase greenery. Municipal President Neelam Bijalwan said that the body has pledged to plant 1000 saplings. This festival is important for environmental protection, due to which future generations will get a clean and green environment. During this, the Municipal President also presented saplings to all the people present on the spot to plant in their homes.
