Rafting starts in Ganga river in Rishikesh from today…tourists will be able to enjoy the thrill

Rafting has officially started in three zones of the Ganga River in Rishikesh.

The season began 22 days late due to safety assessments by a joint inspection team.

Rafting is currently allowed at Marine Drive to Shivpuri, Brahmapuri to Nim Beach, and Kharashrot to Ke Abech.

Additional locations will be announced later.The River Rafting Technical Committee conducted a reconnaissance run before granting permission.

Rafting was suspended for about two months during the monsoon season due to heavy rainfall and river overflow.
