Gadu Ghada Tel Kalash oil pot Yatra will reach Rishikesh on 25th April, Badri Vishal’s portal will open on 12th May
On 25th April, as per tradition, in the presence of Dimri Religious Central Panchayat officials, Maharani Mala Rajya Laxmi Shah and married women will put oil from sesame seeds into a silver pot for the Abhishek of Lord Badri Vishal, after threading it through a silver pot.
The Shri Badrinath Dham Gadu Ghada Oil Kalash Yatra will reach Rishikesh on 25th April late in the evening from Narendra Nagar Raj Darbar. The Yatra will reach Badrinath Dham on 11th May in the evening after passing through several stops. On 12th May the doors of the Dham will be opened for the devotees to visit. After Pooja-Archana, the oil pot will be handed over to the Gadu Ghada Dimri Religious Central Panchayat officials at the Rajmahal. Dr., Media Incharge of Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee Harish Gaur informed that Dimri religious central panchayat officials will reach Chela Chetram Dharamshala situated at Rishikesh Railway Road of Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee with Gadu Ghada-Oil Kalash from Rajmahal Narendra Nagar on 25th April late evening for night stay. Gadu Ghada Oil Kalash will be available for devotees to see in Dharamshala situated at Rishikesh Railway Road of temple committee from 26th April morning till afternoon. Dimri religious central panchayat president Ashutosh Dimri, vice president Bhaskar Dimri, Harish Dimri, Suresh Dimri, Subhash Dimri, former president Vinod Dimri, secretary Bhagwati Dimri, Jyotish Dimri, Sanjay Dimri, Vipul Dimri along with members of Dimri Panchayat and devotees will be present in the Kalash Yatra.
