Senior citizen day Celebrate by Senior citizen welfare society in Rishikesh
The Senior Citizen Welfare Organization celebrated International Senior Citizen Day in a memorable event at LB Hotel in Haridwar Road. The event honored senior citizens above 80 years of age and recognized their contributions to society.
The chief guest, Dr. Mahavir Singh Rawat, described the seniors as the storehouse of experiences and emphasized the importance of respecting the elderly in Indian culture. Special guests Suraj Gulhati, Lalit Mohan Mishra, and Dr. Harish Dhingra also expressed their respect for senior citizens and their contributions.
Other talented individuals from the city were also honored for their work in the organization and service to the elderly. The program was presided over by Pramod Kumar Jain, President, and the ceremony was conducted by SP Agarwal, General Secretary.
The Rotary Club Dewas and All India Marwari Conference also honored the senior citizens. In his address, the President of the Senior Citizen Welfare Organization, Pramod Kumar Jain, described senior citizens as a source of inspiration for the new generation and emphasized the importance of respecting them in both the family and society.
