Today, on the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami, the date of opening of the doors of Lord Badrinath ji has been announced by Rajpurohit Acharya Krishna Prasad Uniyal after calculating the Panchang at Narendranagar Rajdarbar located in Tehri district. Sesame oil will be poured on 22 April for the Mahabhishek of Lord Badri Vishal. On the same day, Gadu Ghada Tel Kalash Yatra will start from Raj Darbar. With this, the Chardham Yatra will also begin formally.
