Saraswati vidya mandir school score first position in matki phod comepetition Spring festival

Rishikesh. The programs of the second day of Hrishikesh Basantotsav 2025 started with Matkifod competition. In the competition, Govindas of Saraswati Vidya Mandir Awas Vikas and Bankhandi Mahadev secured first place in their respective categories.
On Friday, the Matki breaking competition sponsored by ACC Cement at Jhanda Chowk was inaugurated by chief guest former cabinet minister Madan Kaushik, ACC Cement unit head SP Singh, Bharat Mandir mahant Vatsal Prapannacharya, Harshvardhan Sharma, fair coordinator Deep Sharma, co-coordinator Varun Sharma, secretary Vinay Uniyal and Jayendra Ramola.
After this, the participating teams made pyramids one by one at the square and tried their best to reach the pot hung at a height. During this, the sports lovers present on the spot also encouraged the Govindas with drums. Many teams from schools and non-schools participated in the competition.
Program coordinator Ramkripal Gautam said that Saraswati Vidya Mandir Awas Vikas got the first place in the Matki breaking competition for school children. While Gangotri Vidya Niketan got the second place and Shri Bharat Mandir Inter College got the third place. Whereas among the non-school teams, Bankhandi Mahadev Club got the first place, Mahakal Chandeshwar got the second place and Chandreshwar Mahadev Club got the third place.
