Excellent Performers Award given to the Department of Cancer Medicine, AIIMS, Rishikesh
Employees who have performed outstandingly were honored with special honors at a ceremony held at the Department of Cancer Medicine and Hematology, AIIMS, Rishikesh.
At the ceremony, oncologist and associate professor Dr. Amit Sehrawat honored employees who have made significant contributions to the department by presenting awards. Among those honored were Arvind Ghildial, Shalini Rawat, Subhash Chandra, Rajesh Negi, and Laxman Dhakad.
At the ceremony, Dr. Sehrawat said that honors are a reward for hard work, discipline, and dedication. He emphasized that those who receive honors have increased commitment and responsibility to perform better, as family and society have greater expectations of the honored individual.
He said, “Discipline and dignity are the keys to success in life. Therefore, every individual should discharge their duties with complete dedication and responsibility.”
Dr. Sehrawat said that excellence knows no bounds; continuous learning, implementing what is learned in society, self-evaluation, and striving to improve are the paths to progress. He described integrity, honesty, and dedication as the hallmarks of a good employee and responsible citizen.
Wishing departmental personnel a Happy Holi, he said that the festival symbolizes love, brotherhood, and harmony. “Holi inspires us to take positive steps in life and abandon negative thoughts.”
Dr. Sai, Dr. Harsha, Dr. Devika, and other doctors and staff from the department were present on the occasion.
