Joint Anti-Encroachment Drive Conducted in Tapovan Ahead of Char Dham Yatra
A joint team of the Police Administration and Nagar Panchayat Tapovan carried out an anti-encroachment drive within the municipal limits of Tapovan ahead of the upcoming Char Dham Yatra season.
The drive aimed at ensuring smooth traffic movement and unobstructed access for pilgrims and the general public. During the operation, illegal encroachments — including street carts, pushcarts, signboards, and other items blocking public roads and drainage systems — were removed from roads and public spaces.
The Nagar Panchayat has appealed to all citizens and traders to voluntarily refrain from encroaching upon public roads and drains, and to cooperate with the administration in keeping Tapovan clean, beautiful, and well-organised.
Dev Bhoomi deserves clean streets, open pathways, and a dignified welcome for every visitor who arrives with faith in their heart.
The Nagar Panchayat calls upon all citizens and traders to cooperate — keep the roads free, the drains clear, and the spirit of Tapovan alive as a model of order, cleanliness, and beauty.
