Rishikesh: AIIMS’ fourth convocation on 23rdPresident Draupadi Murmu will be the chief guest, Governor and NITI Aayog member will be the special guests
598 medical students will get degrees, 16 toppers will get medals
Rishikesh. Preparations for the fourth convocation at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) have been completed. In the convocation proposed on April 23, 598 medical students as well as toppers will be awarded 16 medals including 14 gold medals by Her Excellency President Draupadi Murmu.
On Sunday, Executive Director Professor (Dr.) Meenu Singh gave this information after reviewing the preparations for the convocation. It was told that in the convocation ceremony, Her Excellency President Draupadi Murmu will be the chief guest and Governor Lt. General Gurmeet Singh and NITI Aayog member Dr. Vinod K. Paul will be the special guests.
During the review meeting, Dr. Meenu Singh gave necessary guidelines to the officials regarding the ceremony. It was told that out of the 598 students who got the degree, 10 toppers have been selected for the gold medal. Some toppers will be awarded more than one gold medal.
The ceremony will start at 4 pm on April 23
The fourth convocation of AIIMS will start on Tuesday, April 23 at 4 pm in the main auditorium. For the success of the event, teams of various departments have been assigned responsibilities.

Before the fourth convocation of AIIMS, three convocations have been organized on 03 November 2018, 14 March 2020 and 13 July- 2023.
