Rishikesh :NCC Cadets Join Forces with Arogyadham to Promote Environmental Consciousness
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets, in collaboration with Arogyadham Retreat & Wellness, recently organized a significant initiative to raise awareness about the importance of tree plantation and Ganga river cleaning. The event, held at Arogyadham Tapovan Rishikesh, brought together NCC cadets, renowned experts, and local communities to promote environmental sustainability and holistic well-being.
The NCC cadets, inspired by Dr. Rakesh Agarwal, Dr. Neelam Agarwal, Dr. Arjun Raj Yogi, and Dr. Amritraj, planted 101 Amla trees on the banks of the Ganga River. This initiative aims to enhance the ecological balance, improve air quality, and provide medicinal benefits to the community. The cadets actively participated in cleaning the sacred Ganga River, emphasizing the importance of preserving its purity and ecological health. Dr. Amritraj shared the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, Yoga, and meditation with the NCC cadets. He highlighted the benefits of these practices for physical and mental well-being, encouraging the cadets to incorporate them into their daily lives.
