Rishikesh. On the last day of Hashikesh Basantotsav program, under the two-day Dangal competition, Umesh Pehalwan of Panipat won the victory by defeating Karnail Singh Pehalwan of Delhi in the Daw Page.

On Friday, on the last day of the two-day competition in the Municipal Corporation premises, 40 wrestling matches took place. The final match was between wrestler Umesh and Karnail Singh. Umesh Pehalwan waved the flag of victory in the dangal and received a lot of applause from the people. Haridwar wrestler Pradeep Shastri also showed strength in wrestling. His Dao Pench also enthralled the audience.

More than 40 wrestlers from Delhi, Ayodhya, Haryana, Rajasthan and UP participated in the competition. Chief guest Cabinet Minister Prem Chandra Aggarwal supported the wrestlers as well as the organizers on the competition.
