Karthik international film festival is creation of Rajesh shah an FTII alumnus & Shalini shah , National award winning director . kautik International Film Festival provides a venue to promote films & culture of uttarakhand .
In year 2017 , kautik students film festival was started to pramote films in the remote town of Nainital . The seeds of Kautik fil festival were sown empathising with other fellows students who needed a platform to share their experiences .
With great sucess of the festival in 2017 , kautik Film Festival became International in 2018 . This festival attract across the globe filmmaker in samall town of Nainital uttarakhand state in india .from the 3rd edition , the festival was held in the wilderness of Jim corbett National park , at Marchula.
This will be the 7th edition of kauthik International Film festival will be organize in Rishikesh parmarth neketan ashram ramjhula district pauri gharwal yamkeswar block .
This festival brings you 38 films , 22 countries participating in festival festival founded by Rajesh Shan Alumini FTII Pune & Shalini Shah National award winner
