Rishikesh, May 3: International spiritual speaker Brahmakumari Shivani Didi delivered a discourse in Rishikesh on Friday in which she spoke on the topic “Good Thinking, Better Life.”

Pride and Ego: Shivani Didi said that when pride comes in a man, he becomes arrogant. She advised people to always be humble and respect others.

Importance of Giving: She said that we should always develop a habit of giving rather than taking. She said that “Dev Bhoomi” does not only mean geographical location but it also signifies the sanskaars (culture) that are given to us by the Gods.

Restraint in Kalyug: Shivani Didi said that in Kalyug, people’s desires are never-ending. She advised people to bring restraint in their lives and control their desires.

Thinking for Healthy Life: She said that to keep our body healthy, we have to change our thinking. She said that negative thoughts can have a negative impact on our health.

Thinking to Win the Mind: Shivani Didi said that to win someone’s heart, we have to change our thinking. She said that true love and respect is attained only when we are kind and compassionate towards others.
Resolutions change lives: He said that the power to change our lives lies in our resolutions. He encouraged people to make positive resolutions and work hard to fulfil them.

Shivani Didi’s discourse was very inspiring. People appreciated her thoughts and resolved to implement them in their lives.

This discourse will make a significant contribution in promoting spiritual consciousness in Rishikesh.

On this occasion, Swami Dayaram Das, Ishwar Das, Mahant Ravi Shastri, along with the directors of the centres operating in all the cities of Garhwal including Haridwar, Dehradun, Roorkee and a large number of their followers participated.
