Narendranagar: Sesame oil extracted in the king palace
Char Dham Yatra 2024: Narendranagar (Rajendra Gusain). For the anointment of Lord Badrinath, as per tradition, married women threaded sesame oil in the Rajmahal located in Narendranagar. After this, Dimri religious panchayat will leave for the Dham with the Gadu Ghada (oil urn).
On Thursday, in the Rajmahal located in Narendranagar, Rajpurohit Krishna Prasad Uniyal started threading sesame oil with worship at the hands of Maharani Mala Rajyalakshmi as per tradition. After this, 60 married women wearing yellow clothes threaded oil on pestle, mortar and grinding stone. Which was collected in Gadu Ghada (oil urn).
Before this, Gadu Ghada was also worshipped with various rituals. The Rajmahal was decorated with flowers and garlands to carry out the tradition of threading oil. It was told that after the oil is threaded, the oil urn will be handed over to the Dimri religious panchayat. The Tel Kalash Yatra will rest in Rishikesh tonight.
On Friday, the Kalash Yatra will reach Dimmar via Srinagar, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag. A few days before the opening of the gates, the Kalash Yatra will depart from Dimmar for Badrinath Dham. It will reach Badrinath on the evening of 11 May.
On this occasion, Maharaja Manujyendra Shah and Maharani Mala Rajyalakshmi Shah prayed for world peace and prosperity. They said that wishes are fulfilled by visiting Badrinath with a true heart. They appealed to more and more devotees to visit the four Dhams.
