The buses of the transports company will go to Chardham first .The Joint Rotation Yatra Management Committee has drawn a lottery for 2200 buses
Rishikesh. This year, the bus of Transport and Tourism Development Cooperative Union will depart first on 9 May with pilgrims for the Chardham Yatra. The Joint Rotation Yatra Management Committee today determined the order of operation of the buses by drawing a lottery. Also, a fleet of 2200 buses was reserved for the Chardham Yatra.
On Friday, after performing Puja at a hotel located at ISBT, the committee drew a lottery for 2200 buses for the proper operation of the buses during the Chardham Yatra. The first lottery was drawn in the name of the Transport and Tourism Development Cooperative Union bus number UK 10- PA 0817. Which will leave for Chardham on 09 May with pilgrims.
Rotation Committee Chairman Naveen Ramola said that 150 buses have been booked so far for 09 May, the first day of the commencement of the Chardham Yatra. He has demanded from the state government to make arrangements for the registration of pilgrims for the buses of the Joint Rotation Management Committee from Rishikesh itself.
On this occasion, former chairman of rotation committee Sanjay Shastri, Sudhir Rai, Jeet Singh Patwal of GMO, Manoj Dhyani of cooperative union, TGMO chairman Jitendra Singh Negi, Roopkund chairman Bhopal Singh Negi, Devendra Rawat, Krishna Pant, Madan Kothari, Dinesh Bahuguna, Dataram Raturi, Harish Nautiyal, Yashpal Rana, Jaspal Bhandari, Pyarelal Jugran, Prempal Bisht etc were present.
